It’s a sad loss for Mark Ruffalo and the rest of his family, on the death of Mark’s younger brother, Scott. And now, after weeks of unsolved mystery of Scott’s death, it has been ruled as a homicide.

On Wednesday, The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death of 39-year-old Scott Ruffalo a homicide. According to coroner’s spokesman, Craig Harvey, an autopsy and their investigation has determined that someone shot Scott in the head.

The hairstylist was found with a gunshot wound early December 1 in his Beverly Hills apartment. Ruffalo died a week later at a hospital after being released from life support.

Not long after Scott was found, two “persons of interest” turned themselves in. Police then arrested a suspect of the shooting, 26-year-old Shaha Mishaal Adham. But she was released and cleared of playing a role in Scott’s death, less than two days after turning herself in for question. Adham’s attorney, Ronald Richards, said at the time of her release that Ruffalo shot himself in the head playing Russian roulette.

No other suspects have been named publicly, and police have not released a motive for the shooting. TMZ.com had once reported about a 29-year-old man that was also arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the crime a day after Scott was hospitalized, but he was released less than three days later without being charged.

Looks like the Police need to have a more intensive investigation on the case. May it will soon be solved!
