Katy Perry & Travis McCoy Are No Longer a Couple!

It looks like the song Hot N Cold will be sung in a different tune by Katy Perry now. Maybe much more with the “cold” side, as her relationship with Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes reportedly going down the drain.

The 24-year-old eccentric singer had been dating 27-year-old McCoy for about a year. The musician pair hit the road together last summer for the Vans Warped tour, and just got back from holiday vacation in Mexico. But according to a source, the couple split just before the New Year. As the source said, “It’s a hardship, but she’s regrouping.”

Just as the news spreading, on December 31, McCoy expressed his feelings on his blog at FriendsOrEnemies.com, posted lyrics to hip-hop group Main Source’s breakup song Looking at the Front Door. The song includes the lines: “We fight every night, now that’s not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you’re ten.” And also these lines, “I’m the one you’re against and it doesn’t make sense/‘Cause I’m the one that you claim to love for life/But all I get is gray hairs and strife.”

McCoy then followed the lyrical post with a declaration for his new ‘love’, his laptop, saying that “My Laptop is my new b–. LOYAL. LISTENS. and NEVER LETS ME DOWN.” A rep for Perry, who will soon starts a tour on January 23 in Seattle, had no comment on the singer’s personal life. While McCoy’s rep could not be reached for comment.
