Patricia Arquette Filed For Divorce

Medium star Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from her husband of two and a half years, actor Thomas Jane.

40-year-old Arquette cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, according to documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The couple had met through friends around 2001, and were married in May 2006. They have a 5-year-old daughter named Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane. Arquette is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter Harlow, with visitation rights for Jane. She isn’t seeking spousal support, and she’s requesting the court deny him any.

This will be a second divorce for both Arquette and Jane. Arquette was once married to actor Nicolas Cage from 1995 to 2001, but no children. Arquette has a 19-year-old son named Enzo, from her previous relationship with musician Paul Rossi. Arquette gained her fame from NBC’s crime drama series, Medium, but she also starred in the big screen; such as True Romance, Lost Highway, and Holes.

While 39-year-old Jane was famous for his role as a hero in 2004’s The Punisher. He also appeared in the 2007 film The Mist. It was not so long ago, when Jane was placed on a year’s probation in September after pleading no contest to a single count of driving under the influence in California’s Kern County. Not only a probation, Jane also ordered to pay a fine and attend alcohol-education classes.

Well, first split in the new year, what can I say. May this decision was the best for both.
