Michael C. Hall of “Dexter” Married His On-Screen Sister

They play as brother and sister in Dexter, but in real life, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are a couple. And now, they make it official in a holy matrimony, and it’s definitely legal.

The actor’s spokesman, Craig Bankey, said on Friday that Hall has married co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the television show. 37-year-old Hall and 29-year-old Carpenter wed on New Year’s Eve in Big Sur, California. The bride had a wedding ring linked to a bouquet that was passed down from Carpenter’s grandfather.

The pair met while shooting the series, and coyly dated for a year and-a-half before being married. Dexter centers on character Dexter Morgan, played by Hall, a serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst, but at the same time targeting sociopaths. While Carpenter plays Debra Morgan, Dexter’s adoptive sister, a tomboyish cop. The series is going to entered season 4 this year.

It’s so nice to see a relationship worked well behind the scenes. Hmm.. not just well, but great! Congrats to the newlyweds!
