Victoria Beckham Follows Her Husband’s Steps of Becoming Armani’s Underwear Model

Not only a Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham could be nicknamed Saucy Spice too.

As the wife of football superstar David Beckham, Victoria Beckham definitely knows how to follow her husband’s footsteps. Just like David did mid last year, Victoria has been named the new face (and body, of course) of Emporio Armani’s new lingerie line last October. And now, the results of her campaign are ready to be published.

The Italian fashion house announced on Thursday that the spring/summer 2009 women’s campaign was shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and the images won’t be released until February. But a sneak peak of the campaign were unveiled yesterday, showing several provocative black and white pictures of the British singer. One of the pictures show the former Spice Girl sitting at the end of an unmade bed and draped at the foot of a sofa, wearing just a bra and matching underwear.

Those pictures of 34-year-old mother of three will be part of Armani’s spring-summer advertising campaign. The fashion designer himself, Giorgio Armani, explained why he chose Victoria as the new face and body of his lingerie line, “because she is a stylish and intriguing woman.”
