Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Will Be Guest Stars on CSI: NY

More and more celebrities guest starring in a drama series or sitcom nowadays, and that includes new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

The ‘Fall Out Boy’ bassist and his singer wife will appear in one of the future episodes of the criminal-drama series “CSI: NY“, as confirmed by the show’s network, CBS.

An insider shared more detailed information, saying that “Ashlee will be playing ‘Lia Wickfield’ and Pete will be playing ‘Chester Bryon’. They are a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’-like couple.” Ashlee is scheduled to begin filming her scenes Friday, while Pete is expected to start shooting the show sometime next week.

This is not Ashlee’s first experience in the acting field. The 24-year-old singer was in fact, starting her career as a television actress in the 7th Heaven series. Ashlee was Cecilia Smith in the show for two seasons from 2002 to 2004. She was later had her own reality show on Mtv, The Ashlee Simpson Show, back in 2004. The Boyfriend singer was also a main role in the 2005 movie, Undiscovered.

But this will be the first time the couple act together. Would it be a great thing? We’ll see…
