Janet Jackson is so familiar with postponed shows lately. After a series of postponed concerts last October, this time the diva has postponed the Japanese leg of her tour.

The singer’s representatives said on Monday that the cancellation act was the effect of the slumping economy. As Jackson’s manager Kenneth Crear, said in a statement, “It’s unfortunate but the world’s economy does not allow Janet to make a trip at this time.” No further details were provided about the postponement, and also no details whether there will be plans to reschedule or not.

The ‘Rock Witchu Tour’, that was launched in September 2008, was the first time Janet had gone on the road in seven years. Throughout the leg of the tour, it gave some major disappointments for the Discipline singer’s fans when Jackson’s health was the reason she postponed six of her North Americans shows and later did not completed the whole tour. 42-year-old Jackson was actually scheduled to play five shows in Japan in February, but too bad it’s not gonna happen.

Come on Janet, don’t keep on disappointing your fans!
