DMX Was Arrested for Reckless Driving

The rapper who once close to the late Aaliyah, DMX, was arrested by Arizona police after speed-enforcement cameras captured him in his bright yellow 1966 Chevrolet going 114 mph on a suburban Phoenix freeway.

Electronically activated cameras that were placed along the Loop 101 freeway in Scottsdale captured DMX three times on Jan. 21 2008 driving his Nova II with a large “DMX” decal on the windshield. He was driving his car at 100, 101 and 114 mph. The speed limit on the stretch of roadway is 65 mph.

Finally, DMX was charged for reckless driving, racing on a highway, three counts of criminal speed, two counts of endangerment, and driving with a suspended license. The rapper/actor with real name Earl Simmons, was taken into custody by local Police Tuesday at his north Phoenix home without incident. Police said stated that Simmons was soo cooperative during the ordeal session, and since then he has been released from custody on bail with no court date set yet.

Whether he wants to try his car’s acceleration, or he’s in very hurry situation, I guess.
