The wedding bells are finally ringing for Salma Hayek! The Mexican-born actress and her lover, French entrepreneur François-Henri Pinault married on Valentine’s Day in Paris. such a ‘perfect’ date and place to get married, don’t you think?

A local official shared the happy news, saying that the couple got married on Saturday morning, in a civil ceremony Saturday at the City Hall in Paris’ chic 6th arrondissement. The wedding reportedly small and simple, that is quite the opposite of the couple’s long love path.

The two met in Italy in 2006, got engaged, and in September 2007 blessed with the birth of their daughter named Valentina. 42-year-old Hayek and Pinault were actually planned to get married last year, but they broke off their engagement last July. While Pinault is the son of one of France’s richest men. He is chief executive of the French luxury and retail group PPR SA, which owns high-end labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Puma.
