Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez Idol Were Eliminated

It’s not a lucky Wednesday night for two contestants of American Idol’s Top 13.

Apparently, it’s the twist that the host Ryan Seacrest had been talking about. From 13 to 11, right from the very first start.

The Michael Jackson night brought ‘thriller’ and also ‘bad’ things for several contestants.

The night was opened by Adam Lambert, singing Black Or White. Just like most of us predicted, he scored big points. Lambert was one of the Top 3 this week. Alexis Grace up next, singing Dirty Diana. I personally think she has more potential to dig.

Others were pretty good as well, Danny Gokey and Lil Rounds completed the Top 3 with their awesome performances.

Then, the announcement time. Jasmine Murray who sang I’ll Be There, apparently won’t be there on the American Idol stage next week. She was the first cut of the night. While although Indian-born Anoop Desai was also in the Bottom 3, it’s the rendition of Never Can Say Goodbye by Jorge Nuñez that can not hold him down for another week.

With the Mötley Crüe’s song Home Sweet Home sung by Idol’s alum Carrie Underwood, Murray and Nuñez’s montages appeared on the screen. It’s their time to say goodbye. Next week, no more double elimination, but someone’s going home alone. Who will it be? Keep your finger crossed for your idol!

This eight season of American Idol is just getting started. Good luck contestants!!
