That’s the question that have been around this last couple of weeks. It’s because the plan of Michael Jackson’s comeback concerts apparently resulting in very positive feedback.

From anticipating loyal fans, wide media reviews, big promotions, and newest prominent result; the tickets for Michael Jackson’s 50 London Concerts SOLD OUT within hours after it went on sale.

The good news (or bad news for those who didn’t got the tickets) announced by organizers yesterday. About 360,000 advance tickets were sold out earlier this week, so the promoters added roughly 500,000 tickets on Friday. They were priced between 50 pounds and 75 pounds ($70 and $105), but some were went for hundreds of pounds (or dollars) on internet auction sites.

And although with the sky-rocketed price, crowd still gone crazy for them. Reportedly, hundreds of people waited outside the arena for the chance to buy them. Not only that, they even had camped overnight for the privilege!!

50-year-old Jackson has said the shows will be his last in London, eventhough there has been speculation that the London gigs could be part of a comeback world tour. The series are titled This Is It, and marked Jackson’s return to the stage after his last series of concerts 12 years ago. The original commitment was to 10 gigs at London’s O2 Arena, but it has now expanded to 50, ending on February 24, 2010.

The worldwide-known performer has sold more than 750 million albums and won 13 Grammys, but has not staged a major tour since 1997 or released an album of new material since 2001. So the shows that are scheduled to kick off in July until February last year, probably will be his biggest concerts ever, as the result of so many anticipating loyal fans who missed him all of this time.
