Wanted : Lindsay Lohan!

Lindsay Lohan’s last weekend is definitely a weekend to remember.

Last Friday, The Beverly Hills Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for the Mean Girls actress, stemming from her May 2007 DUI arrest. As read in the police statement, “A warrant was in fact issued Friday for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run.”

It also said, “The circumstances leading to the issuance by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Ms. Lohan will surrender herself so this matter can be resolved in at timely manner.”

22-year-old Lohan will face a hearing Monday morning in a Beverly Hills courtroom. According to L.A. County District Attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons, “The hearing apparently involves her probation. The judge apparently has indicated that Ms. Lohan should be in attendance.”

On the other side, Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, believed the warrant was just a “misunderstanding.” In his statement Saturday afternoon, Holley said, “Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the court. The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week.”

Looking back almost two years ago, in May 2007, the Bossy singer was busted for driving under the influence after losing control of her car and running up a curb. Police then found cocaine in her car and lab tests showed the drug in her system. Continuing the incident, Lohan was arrested for drunken driving July 24, 2007.

Lohan pleaded guilty in August 2007, and she was sentenced to one day in jail. She is currently serving a three-year probation term for her second DUI conviction.

Apparently, ghost from the past can really haunted you. as well as police, though. Let’s just wait and see for the upcoming progress from Lohan’s case then. Stay tune!
