Bono Celebrates His 48th Birthday

The vocalist of U2 and famous humanitarian, Bono, celebrates his 48th birthday on Friday night. He held a small dinner party at Sass’ Café in Monaco.

He invites those important names of the world, such as Brad Pitt, Monaco’s Prince Albert II and his partner in U2, The Edge. But even though with them in the guest list, the party actually wasn’t really planned. “It was really quite a surprise, It wasn’t organized in advance. We only got called on it that afternoon”.

The ‘humble’ dinner was arranged by Bono’s wife Ali Hewson, began with red wine at 10 p.m, according to staff, even before The Edge arrived for the evening. The meal was followed by a champagne toast and strawberry cake lit with candles.

That’s a celebration indeed! Happy Birthday Bono!
