Farrah Fawcett Was Released From Hospital

Former star of the original Charlie’s Angels, Farrah Fawcett has been released last Thursday from a Los Angeles hospital, after being treated for internal bleeding.

The 62-year-old actress, who was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, recently had a “minor procedure” in Germany that according to Fawcett’s physician, Dr. Lawrence Piro, “led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall.”

It caused her a hematoma, a sac of blood that caused pressure and pain. The condition then made Fawcett had been hospitalized since April 2. The actress left the hospital with longtime companion Ryan O’Neal, looking forward to celebrating Easter at home.

As Piro described her latest condition, the pain from the hematoma has improved tremendously, and Fawcett was in good spirits. Glad to hear that, and get well soon Jill Munroe!
