Another mom and dad to be!

Good news coming from Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. After almost 7 years of marriage, the couple are -finally- expecting their first child together. As said by a source close to the pair, “They’re very excited.” The source also added that 31-year-old Gellar is due in the fall.

Gellar was popularly known for her role as Buffy in TV Series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, from 1997 to 2003. In latter years, she is known for her role on horror movies, especially in The Grudge and its sequel, The Grudge 2.

She met 33-year-old Prinze during filming of the 1997 teen horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer. The two begin dating in 2000, were engaged in April 2001, and got married in Mexico on September 1, 2002. They were later met in another movie, Scooby Doo, also in 2002.

Gellar reportedly will shoot the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays, where she acts as an executive producer too. While Prinze recently shot the comedy pilot No Heroics for ABC.
