Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie and Ellen DeGeneres Do Fashion Charity

Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie and talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres are teamed up to do some charities.

Gwyneth and Ellen are cleaning out their closets to gain quite a sum of money for those in need. Some of their clothes are on eBay for sale.

The money from Gwyneth’s Burberry dress, Topshop trench and other items will go to the Robin Hood Foundation. While money from Ellen’s wardrobe will help the Humane Society.

Different from the first two, Nicole Richie decided not to auctioning her own clothes, but she puts baby apparels of her daughter Harlow on handmedowns.com. The profit will go to Richie and her husband’s own charity.

Not only these three women, Angelina Joile is also reported will do the same next month. She is giving up goods to Hand Me Downs from all of her children (Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne). Coming from six children, that will be a huge addition for the upcoming auction. Jolie probably gives her children an early introduction to the philantropic world that she already familiar with. A good example indeed.
