The story of Madonna’s horse back riding accident has developed. Apparently, news about the diva’s fall from a horse last weekend got more exciting than we thought.

As we reported earlier, Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg claimed that the accident happened because paparazzi jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, startling the horse.

But according to the officers who responded to the scene, there’s no mention of the paparazzi from the Material Girl herself. “She was a victim of a fall from a horse. We have no mention of the paparazzi,” said Officer Chris Brenner, a spokesman for the Southampton Village Police Department. Rosenberg did not immediately respond to calls seeking comment on the contradiction between her account and the official record.

Photographer Thomas Hinton also begged to differ. Hinton claims he had no part in the accident, saying, although he did indeed take some photos of Madonna at that time, but he left the area before the accident happened.

Hinton was certain that there were no other photographers there before him, and has said that Madonna’s host, Steven Klein, was the only photographer around when the singer fell. He also mentioned that if he was the one making Madonna fell, how come he had no pictures of the accident.

The New York Post published the exclusive shots, though, Madonna was captured wearing a black riding helmet, black boots and a dark ensemble of jodhpurs and jacket. But all the pictures were taken by Hinton earlier that day.

Hmm… if this story has more (hidden) details, it could be much more serious than just physical injuries… right? Who’s telling the truth?
