Bad luck happened to Hugh Jackman’s latest movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, again and again.

After being shocked by the bootlegged version of the movie, who came out just a month before its official release, now Wolverine has to deal with a ’suddenly famous’ disease, swine flu.

The Mexico City premiere that was actually planned this Wednesday, had to be postponed by Twentieth Century Fox, as the city remains paralyzed by the virus that has killed over 100 people. Dozens of cases of swine flu have also been detected stateside.

A rep for the studio issued the following statement, “We were not only concerned about Hugh’s welfare – and we would never send anyone into harm’s way – but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about. There was no point in proceeding under the current conditions.”

Since the swine flu spread heavily, the Mexico government has asked for residents to stay home, shutting down schools and even shutting down a lot of movie theaters. But don’t be too sad though, because the rep also said that there’s a possibility the premiere could be rescheduled. They will monitor the situation to decide further actions.
