Christina Applegate and Michelle Obama Are Among People’s 100 Most Beautiful

Annual edition of People magazine’s “100 Most Beautiful” is back again. This year, the magazine that was issued Wednesday and will hit the stands on Friday has a smiling Christina Applegate on its cover.

The actress who recently battled breast cancer shared stories about her struggles and her reason to smile, boyfriend Martyn Lenoble. Applegate says she has an “angel” of a Dutch bass player boyfriend, who loves her “from head to toe.”

The 37-year-old actress had a double mastectomy last July and followed by reconstructive breast surgery in November. Lenoble has been her source of strength, since the guy is Applegate’s friend for about 13 years. She continues, “Our relationship gets stronger and stronger. I’m really lucky. I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this.”

Others who joined the Samantha Who? actress are first lady Michelle Obama, High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron and former supermodel Cindy Crawford. Slumdog Millionaire’s Dev Patel, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart from Twilight also includes in the list of 100 famous faces.

On the magazine, U.S. President Barack Obama’s fashionable wife said that “I had a father and a brother who thought I was beautiful, and they made me feel that way every single day.” She also added, “I grew up with very strong male role models who thought I was smart and fast and funny, so I heard that a lot. I know that there are many young girls who don’t hear it. But I was fortunate.”
