British Model Jordan and Husband Peter Andre Are Splitting Up

On Monday, a statement on behalf of British tabloid darling, Katie Price, also known as Jordan and her husband Peter Andre stated that the couple are to separate after four years of marriage.

The news came as a shock not only for their fans, but also for Jordan herself. The devastated model said, “Pete is the love of my life and my life. We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by his decision to separate and divorce me, as I married him for life.”

She also added, “This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation but I will always love my Pete.”

Jordan’s spokeswoman said that the couple requested respect from the media for their families’ privacy at this difficult time. She also informed that Jordan left the country Sunday night with the pair’s children; three-year-old son, Junior and one-year-old daughter, Princess Tiaamii. Her eldest child from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, six-year-old Harvey, was at home with a nanny.

30-year-old Jordan and 36-year-old Australian pop star Andre met in 2004, while filming the reality television show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!” They were later married a year later, in a lavish ceremony at Highclere Castle in Hampshire. The couple had also released a duets album in 2006.

In recent years, the former topless model had turned her talents to writing, producing out several autobiographies, a series of children’s book and an advice column, as well as designing. Several of her books have topped bestseller lists in Britain. According to this year’s Sunday Times Rich List, has amassed a fortune of 30 million pounds (around 45 million dollars).
