Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old Daughter Died

Mike Tyson
Sad news coming from former heavyweight world champion, Mike Tyson.
His 4-year-old daughter Exodus died Tuesday in a Phoenix hospital, following an accident that happened on Monday. The death was confirmed by the Phoenix police, as spokesman Andy Hill said, “I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 am today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.”
Exodus was found with her neck wrapped in a cable of a treadmill at her home by her seven-year-old brother, after the boy’s mother sent him to the playroom to check on his sister. After being called by her son, the mother soon freed the girl, called an ambulance and tried to revive her. Exodus was hospitalized and had been on life support since Monday.
42-year-old Tyson weren’t there when the accident occurred, because he lives separately from them. He arrived Monday afternoon from Las Vegas in the hospital where Exodus was being treated. Unfortunately, although her father had already came to see her, Exodus’s fate tells a sad ending.
As Tyson said in a statement, “We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world. There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”
Tyson has been married twice and has six children with several women. Exodus was Tyson’s daughter from a woman whose name has not been released. He had been in the news recently with the release of the documentary movie entitled Tyson, directed by James Toback. The film had premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year.
When asked, Toback gave out his comments why he choose Tyson as his movie’s star, “There are certain people in various fields, they just become the representative, iconic figure of that profession. To me as a boxer, as a fighter, it’s Mike Tyson.”
We’re sorry for your loss, Mr. Tyson. May she rest in peace.
