Good news for all Miley’s fans! The Disney star is reportedly has closed a deal for continuing her role as Hanna Montana in the show’s upcoming fourth season. Hooray!!

Several months ago, there had been speculations about whether Cyrus would return to the series that made her a star, because the teen actress-singer herself had expressing her intention to spread her wings wider. But all the hesitations are now gone, since the 16-year-old had agreed to continue her small-screen duties as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana for one more year.

In the next season, the series will change settings, as the Stewarts will kiss their beachfront Malibu home goodbye. As said by Disney Channel Worldwide president, Gary Marsh, “The change settings will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities.”

Created by Michael Poryes, Rich Correll and Barry O’Brien, Hannah Montana is a very popular series among teens and tweens in the U.S.A with an average of 4.4 million viewers per episode.

Beside Miley Cyrus, the show also has Cyrus’ real-life dad Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment and Jason Earles as the stars. It has generated two double-platinum soundtracks, a No. 1 box-office movie, DVDs, a junior novel series, apparel, accessories, videogames and a Miley Cyrus concert tour, which also spawned a 3-D film version that became the No. 1 concert film of all time.

The fourth season has been highly anticipated by Miley’s (and also Hannah’s) fans. So it looks like such a bright future ahead for Hannah. Enjoy the journey, and you go girl!
