Christina Ricci Called Off The Wedding

Sad news coming from actress Christina Ricci.

According to those who is close to Ricci, the 29-year-old star has called off her engagement to actor and comedian Owen Benjamin. One of the sources shared, “Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off.”

But according to other source, the pair called off the engagement before last week. The insider said, “They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.” No comment from Ricci’s rep, though.

The Black Snake Moan star met Benjamin last year, on the set of their film All’s Faire in Love. They went public with their relationship in October, and announcing their engagement in mid March. Too bad it didn’t last.

Well, anyhow, hopefully this decision is the best for both of them. Best wishes for Christina and Owen!
