Kris Allen Will Sing on NBA Finals in LA

NBA Finals this year will be so much merrier with the performance of American Idol’s winner, Kris Allen.

The 23-year-old Arkansas born will sing the U.S. national anthem, Star Spangled Banner, on Sunday before the second game of the NBA finals. This performance is like a tradition to all Idol winners, except for the winner of third season, Fantasia.

Allen will perform in front of the basketball fans at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The game is between the Los Angeles Lakers against the Orlando Magic. The Lakers have a 1-o lead over the Magic in the first game Thursday night, winning 100-75. His live performance will be broadcast on ABC at 8 p.m. EDT.
