Diamond Jewels Were Missing after Lindsay Lohan’s Photo Shoot

Lindsay Lohan is back with another story. This time, the actress/singer is connected with a crime story, where diamond jewels with estimated worth around 250,000 pounds (or 410,000 dollars) have gone missing after a photo shoot of Lohan that was held in London.

As London police said in a statement, “Officers from Westminster police are investigating an allegation of theft of jewelry from studios in Brewery Road, Islington.” The statement did not name Lohan, but it was issued in response to a query about the 22-year-old actress.

British tabloids said the Bobby actress modeled the diamond necklace and earrings that were made by Dior and loaned for an Elle magazine photo shoot at a studio in north London on June 6. The police added, “The theft was reported to us on June 8 after earrings and a necklace believed to be worth in the region of 250,000 pounds were found to be missing approximately two days earlier. Inquiries are continuing and no arrest has been made at this stage.”

Lohan was rumored had something to do with the jewel heist, but the fashion magazine through a statement Tuesday saud it had no reason to believe that Lohan was in any way linked to the theft. Lohan’s spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik also said yesterday that Lohan has not been contacted by authorities but would comply in an investigation if necessary. Sloane-Zelnik also noted that nearly 20 people were working at the Elle magazine photo shoot at that time.

Hopefully the thief will get caught soon, and Lohan will be cleared from the alleged crime. Cross those fingers, Linds!
