The handsome Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford has been chosen as People magazine’s hottest bachelor of the summer. 23-year-old Crawford beats down lots of other sexy and single men, including; High School Musical’s heartthrob Zac Efron, Twilight’s Robert Patiinson and Bradley Cooper.

Beside still working in the Gossip Girl series, which is on summer break now, Crawford is also scheduled to become the next Kevin Bacon, in the remake of the 1984 film Footloose.

In a sneak peek of his interview with the magazine, Crawford shared that he talks to his parents every day, doing vacations with his younger sister and said that he is “not in any rush” to get into a relationship because he has the rest of his life to share with someone. And when talking about his previous relationship with American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood, the Texas-born actor said, “I have nothing bad to say about that experience. It was awesome. I just didn’t know how to deal with it. I learned a ton about dating someone in that kind of spotlight. It was such a whirlwind, but no regrets.”
