Amy Adams Will Join Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale in an Upcoming Movie

The princess in Enchanted, Amy Adams is reportedly in final negotiations to star alongside two hotties; Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg in the boxing-themed true-life drama entitled The Fighter.

The movie that tells a story about a boxer “Irish” Mickey Ward (Wahlberg) and his trainer half-brother Dick Eklund (Bale), it revolves around their early days on the rough streets of Lowell, Mass., through Eklund’s battle with drugs and Ward’s eventual world championship.

34-year-old Adams is planned to have the role of Charlene, a tough bartender and former college high-jumper who dates Mickey. While actress Melissa Leo has been cast as the mother of the two central characters.

Adams’ latest appearance was as Amelia Earhart in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, opposite Ben Stiller. She will also soon be seen in Nora Ephron’s Julie & Julia with Meryl Streep, in theaters August 7.
