Ellen DeGeneres Will Make It Official

Good news for gay and lesbian in California, because starting yesterday -May 15th- as we quote from Yahoo!News, California’s Supreme Court declared that gay couples in the nation’s biggest state can marry.

And of course with this good news, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres won’t miss the opportunity she has been waiting for to tie the knot with her partner, actress Portia de Rossi. They have been in a relationship since 2004, and 4 years is long enough to make it official.

After Ellen talked about the legalization gay marriage news, she surprised everyone and announced that she was going to marry Portia, said a source in the audience of yesterday afternoon’s taping of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

Immediately, the statement was welcomed in a big standing ovation by the audience, and Portia was there too. Congratulations Ellen! Hope you have a happy and long-lasting marriage!
