American Idol Judge, Kara DioGuardi Got Married

This year’s Fourth of July weekend is a busy one for American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi.

The 38-year-old newest member on the panel of American Idol judges tied the knot with her fiance, contractor Mike McCuddy last Sunday. The news had been conformed by DioGuardi’s publicist, Danica Smith, who said the ceremony was held in Prospect Harbor, Maine. About 30 guests witnessed the ceremony at the Prospect Harbor United Methodist Church.

DioGuardi wore a Vera Wang dress, accompanied with a $250,000 Neil Lane’s jewelries; a 30-carat diamond-and-platinum bracelet and chandelier earrings with 20 carats of diamonds. The jeweler said, “She wanted something glamorous.” Well, she got it!

DioGuardi and 34-year-old McCuddy were engaged last December, exactly on DioGuardi’s 38th birthday. He proposed when they were on vacation in Mexico. DioGuardi will continue her role as a judge in the America’s No. 1 reality show, and as a songwriter, she is expected to work with Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town in August.
