Joey McIntyre Will Soon Have Another New Kid on the Block

The New Kids on the Block will have another junior coming from Joey McIntyre!

The 36-year-old singer and his wife Barrett are expecting baby no. 2, that will be another son, due this December. As McIntyre said, “I still can’t get over it. We feel so blessed.” The couple already had a son, 20-month-old Griffin.

McIntyre told the story when they found out about the second pregnancy, “My wife actually took the [pregnancy] test but she thought it was negative. She came out and gave me this look like, ‘No.’ Then she showed me the test and I said ‘It’s positive! What the hell?’”

Although they were actually hoping for a daughter, and were convinced they were having a girl at first, but having another boy will still be a bless for them. McIntyre said, “It’s going to be a trip to have a couple of boys around.” When asked if he and wife have a plan to add more children since McIntyre coming from a big family with eight siblings, he said with a laugh, “I think we have a deal to keep going until we have a girl. That’s what my wife says.”
