It’s Over Between Amy Winehouse and Husband

Amy Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s road of marriage has come to an end.

On Thursday, the Rehab singer ended her two-year marriage to musician Blake Fielder-Civil when the couple were granted a divorce at a hearing in London, but both parties were not present for the brief proceedings at the High Court’s family division. Winehouse’s spokesman confirmed the divorce, but declined further comment.

25-year-old Winehouse and 27-year-old Fielder Civil were married in Miami in May 2007. Despite so much love between the two of them (for example: Winehouse spoke about her husband many times in her song lyrics), but their relationship was far from good. The bee-hive-haired singer has been treated for drug addiction, while Fielder-Civil has spent time in prison, after admitting beating up a pub landlord in 2006 and conspiring to cover up the crime.

Fielder-Civil started divorce proceedings against his wife in January “on the grounds of Amy’s adultery.” But on the other hand, he also had long been accused as one of the bad influences for the Grammy-award winner.

Hopefully it’s the best thing for both of them… who knows, probably the divorce will push away the negative things toward Amy. and Blake as well!
