Singer Kelis Delivered a Baby Boy

Although singer Kelis is in the middle of divorce process with estranged husband Nas, she’s happily welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday, a result from her almost-ending marriage.

The baby was delivered in Los Angeles, and named Knight. The naming is probably with the hope he will be strong like knight, eventhough his mommy and daddy won’t be together anymore.

The Milkshake singer married rapper Nas in January 2005, after being engaged for two years. But a shocking news came late April, when she filed for divorce. Rumors said the reason of the separation is Nas’ alleged infedelities, as wrote by Kelis on her Twitter account, “This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters. Super brief! Why be cowardly why not go after what you really want. All the scum bag husbands and the less than impressive sluts unite! You can all go down in flames together… I am here to say the husband is way more at fault.”

Kelis is seeking for spousal and child support, as well as joint custody of their baby. Well, no matter what the outcome of Kelis and Nas’ marriage, I hope Knight’s needs will always come first. Welcome to the world baby Knight!
