Missing Robbie Williams? Here’s some good news!

After a three years of hiatus, his record company EMI said on Wednesday that the 35-year-old singer will release his latest album this November. The album will be released on November 9 and will be titled Reality Killed the Video Star. The first single from the album called Bodies will be released in October.

Williams had said about his upcoming album in his blog last month, “My album’s a killer. Old Robbie, New Robbie and a Robbie that neither of us have met … I really hope it’s as good as I think it is.” He also said that he rewrote one of the songs after Michael Jackson died with the pop star in mind.

In his new album, Williams is working with producer Trevor Horn, who once a member of band The Buggles that released the 1979 hit Video Killed the Radio Star. Quite obvious, Robbie’s album title apparently inspired by it.

The Better Man singer has sold 55 million albums worldwide, but his last album in 2006 entitled Rudebox, was his lowest selling album in Britain and the sales weren’t that great either in the United States. Well, hopefully his next album will have more success and more satisfying for the long awaited fans. Can’t hardly wait for your future album, Robbie!
