Steven Tyler Broke His Shoulder From Stage Fall

Worried about Steven Tyler’s condition? Well here’s an update from yesterday’s posting about the incident that was happened to Mr. Tyler.

Media reports on Thursday said that the Aerosmith frontman has broken his shoulder and suffered other minor injuries, including his head and neck after falling off the stage during a concert. Not only that, 61-year-old Tyler also received stitches in his head and back.

Tyler and the other band members held their concert in front of thousands of motorbike aficionados attending an annual gathering at Buffalo Chip Campground in the town of Sturgis, South Dakota. The concert was a part of their summer tour. According to eyewitnesses, Tyler accidentally stepped backward off a catwalk after spinning around as he performed a dance move while singing Love in an Elevator.

After the incident happened, the concert was stopped, and Tyler was taken to the hospital by helicopter. When asked about the incident, concert spokesman Michael Sanborn said, “It was an unfortunate end to an extraordinary evening.” Sanborn also shared Tyler’s reaction after the mishap, “He was good natured about it. He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician.”

On of Tyler’s bandmates, Joe Perry, wrote on his Twitter account that Tyler would see his own doctor soon, and that all the bandmates have returned to their Boston base.
