It’s official, summer blockbuster G.I. Joe is No. 1 in this week’s Box Office, as shown by final weekend figures on Monday.
According to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations, the movie that was adapted from the popular Hasbro toy claimed its throne with a $54.7 million opening weekend.
The movie that was directed by Stephen Sommers has stars like Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller, Dennis Quaid and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Reportedly, the film earned about $44 million in the rest of the world in the opening weekend. Pretty good, eh?!
