Amy Winehouse received an award yesterday for her song “Love Is a Losing Game” at the Ivor Novello Awards, as the best song.

But the singer was not there to accept the award because she was late, so her father accept it for her. “Amy unfortunately couldn’t make it,” Mitch Winehouse, the father said. “She’s getting better, and she sends you all her love”.

And he also added on Amy’s behalf, thanked family members and friends “who continually send us their love and best wishes all the time and every day”. Not forgotten, a praise for her manager, Ray Grange.

Once she had arrived, she said “very excited and very flattered” to have won. Still no news about why Amy was late at the prestigious award show, but thankfully she still make it.

Better be not because you smoke some joint before, Amyyy!!!
