Apparently George Michael had some unfortunate fate when it comes to cars, well, driving to be exact.

He was banned from driving for two years in June 2007 after pleading guilty to driving while unfit through drugs. At that time, he was found slumped at the wheel of his car in north London.

Just a couple of months after being un-banned, the Careless Whisper singer was involved in a car smash last Friday. Thames Valley Police said that Michael’s Land Rover reportedly hit a tractor-trailer on the A34 road near London. He was arrested and questioned by the police, but then released without charge five hours later.

On Saturday, the 46-year-old confirmed the incident, but later issued a statement insisting he had done nothing wrong. He said, “Neither of us was charged because we were both stone cold sober. We both think the other is to blame so this is just an insurance fight.” He also wrote, “I don’t want my fans or my family worried by what they are reading all over again.”

But apparently, the lorry driver Laurie Row had disagreed. He was quoted saying, “He (Michael) seemed completely disorientated, like he had no idea what was going on. He looked totally dazed and even tried to climb into the cab of my lorry.” Which of course, had been denied by the singer’s rep.

The former star of 1980s pop band Wham, has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, with seven US number one singles, 11 number one singles in Britain and six number one albums. But despite his outstanding career, Michael had involved in several cases, including cautioned for drugs possession in 2008.

George Michael should learn his lessons well, because I believe he won’t be singing Freedom anymore if he keep his destructing behavior.
