Celine Dion is Pregnant With Second Child

Canadian singer, Celine Dion, joins the long list of famous names who are preggers; including Kourtney Kardashian and Sarah Chalke.

A spokeswoman for the My Heart Will Go On singer, Murielle Blondeau, reported Tuesday that the pop star is pregnant with her second child. Blondeau said that the couple are full of joy and that it’s been a dream for Dion to have a second child, who is due next May.

Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, found out about the pregnancy Monday after she underwent fertility treatments in New York. It’s the same procedure she used to have her first child, son Rene-Charles, who is now eight years old. Blondeau also informed that Rene-Charles is to start his first day of school on Tuesday in Florida.

41-year-old Dion is the youngest of 14 children, and had been married to Angelil, a director of the French-language reality-television show Star Academie, for almost 15 years. She is one of the world’s top selling female singers and last year earned more than $235 million from her first world tour in eight years. In 2003, Dion began a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and grossed more than $385 million by the time the final show ended in December 2007.
