Jenna Dewan Will Guest Star on the New Melrose Place

In Step Up, Jenna Dewan’s character was a very sexy dancer. And for the new version of Melrose Place, the actress will guest star for another sexy character.

The dancer-turned-actress will be joining the cast of Melrose Place, as confirmed by executive producer Todd Slavkin. Slavkin said, the 28-year-old Dewan will play a movie executive named Kendra Wilson who works on the Paramount lot and has her eyes on Jonah Miller (Michael Rady), an aspiring filmmaker. Slavkin also described her character as an “ivy league graduate, wickedly sexy and wickedly smart.”

Dewan, who recently wed G. I. Joe hunk Channing Tatum, is set to appear in two episodes (episodes seven and eight) of the show. But because of her great audition, Slavkin said the producers are hoping to see more of her. The new and improved Melrose Place premieres September 8 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
