She might have look quite harmless, but apparently, Jessica Biel is the most dangerous celebrity to search in cyberspace, according to Internet security company McAfee Inc.

The security technology company McAfee Inc. on Tuesday reported for the third consecutive year that searches for the 27-year-old actress are more likely to lead to online threats such as spyware and viruses than searches for any other celebrity.

McAfee said fans searching for the actress have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to damage one’s computer. With this new result, Biel is knocking down Brad Pitt from his throne last year, dropping to 10th position. The first celebrity who received the ‘honor’ in 2007 was Paris Hilton.

Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee’s product development said in a statement that “Cybercriminals are star watchers, too. They latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise. Consumers’ obsession with celebrity news and culture is harmless in theory, but one bad download can cause a lot of damage to a computer.”

The statement continued, “Every day, cybercriminals use celebrities’ names and images, like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna, to lure surfers searching for the latest stories, screen savers and ringtones to sites offering free downloads laden with malware.”

Coming second in the list for the second year running was pop star Beyoncé, while Jennifer Aniston sitting on third position. Other famous -but dangerous- names on the list are: Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, Lauren Conrad, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were also one of the risky public figures to search, ranking no. 34 and no. 39.

So, be careful of Jessica Biel then!
