Katherine Heigl Hosted Ellen Pompeo’s Baby Shower

They’re best friends on tv, but also in real life. And what friends do if one of them is pregnant? Hosted a baby shower!

Well, that is exactly what Katherine Heigl did last Saturday afternoon, hosting a baby shower for her Grey’s Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo. The bash was held at Heigl’s home in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles.

Famous friends such as Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh, and -recently engaged in threesome nude tape - Rebecca Gayheart were among the 25 guests in attendance at the outdoor, umbrella-shielded event. An eyewitness shared the joyful event, saying, “Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends.”

Pink floral arrangements and candles adorned tables, neatly designed for the arrival of Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery’s baby girl in October. Guests brought gifts (including a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap) wrapped in girly pink and yellow colors, which many of them came from the Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, where Pompeo is registered.
