3 Doors Down Singer, Brad Arnold Got Married!

Wedding bells were heard last weekend, when Brad Arnold tied the knot with his girlfriend.

The lead singer of rock band 3 Doors Down married Jennifer Sanderford, a horseback rider, in their hometown of Escatawpa , Mississippi , Saturday. Both are childhood friends, who reconnected on a blind date after Arnold split from his first wife in 2006.

Arnold said, “From that day on we haven’t spent two months apart in the past three years. She is the girl I love to be around.” The happy groom also added, “My baby is a sweet girl. I couldn’t be more happy. I thank god everyday that I get to spend the rest of my life with her.”

The “simple but pretty” ceremony was using black and white themed colors, and invited (more or less) 120 guest ceremony. Arnold shared that the bride opted against reciting vows. He said, “We were going to write our own vows and she said, ‘That’s not fair, you’re a writer. Please don’t make me say anything.’ I said, ‘Baby, you at least have to say I do.’”

The reception was then held about 20 miles from the church, and although Arnold is a singer, he did not take to the microphone at the event. Probably Arnold was saving his voice for the upcoming 3 Doors Down album, which will be worked on in the coming months. The band had previously known for their hits such as Away From the Sun and Kryptonite.
