Robert Downey Jr. as Hugh Hefner

After successfully played Tony Stark on the box office “Iron Man”, Robert Downey, Jr. is now surely a good catch. He is the chosen actor for new biopic movie of Hugh Hefner, the boss of Playboy, chose by Mr. Hefner himself.

The new biopic that will be titled “Playboy” is planned to be shot in Chicago, since the city is where Hefner grew up in. It will focusing on the early years of Playboy magazine, before Hefner moves to California to expand his ‘empire’. The movie scheduled to be filming as soon as Downey finished the sequel of Iron Man, and the finalization of the Hefner script.

The legendary Hefner was reportedly finally found the right actor to played as him, after seeing the major blockbuster superhero movie where Robert Downey Jr as the main actor. He admires Downey’s humor and acting skill. Previously, Johnny Depp was rumored will be played Hefner. But the demand on Downey has been raising now, and about “Playboy” movie, the actor’s rep said that Downey interested, but is unlikely to commit to it until a script is done and a director is named.

Well, Downey has a playboy look indeed, he might be the ideal one to be Playboy king!
