Claire Danes is now Married to Hugh Dancy

Juliet has finally found her own Romeo. Yes, the actress who played Juliet in 1996 movie Romeo + Juliet, Claire Danes, met her real life Romeo in the body of Hugh Dancy.

30-year-old Danes and Dancy are now husband and wife, as confirmed by Danes’ spokeswoman Jodi Gottlieb, who delivered the happy news, saying the pair were married in France, but would not provide any additional details about the nuptials.

The two met about two years ago in the set of Evening, and after being engaged for seven months, the knot is tied now. Danes had previously dated other famous names, including musician Ben Lee, and actors such as Matt Damon and Billy Crudup.

She was known for her role as Angela Chase in the television series, My So-Called Life, the series that made her won a Golden Globe award. Besides Romeo + Juliet, Danes had appeared in Igby Goes Down, The Hours alongside Nicole Kidman, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Shopgirl, and Stardust. While the 34-year-old British actor had appeared in The Jane Austen Book Club, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Adam.
