A Private Memorial for Patrick Swayze Will Be Held on Sunday

In honor of Patrick Swayze, a memorial will be held for the late actor on Sunday at Sony Studios in Culver City, California.

According to a statement that was released by Swayze’s rep, donations will be more appreciated instead of flowers for the event, and those who want to make a donation can choose between two organizations; “The Patrick Swayze Pancreas Cancer Research Fund” or “Stand Up to Cancer.”

This is the second memorial after the actor died September 14 in the age of 57. The first one is a memorial that was held shortly after his funeral, in Lake Lure, North Carolina, which was the town where part of Swayze’s memorable movie, Dirty Dancing was filmed.

A memorial with good deeds… Mr. Swayze must be proud while looking down from up there.
