Nicole Richie Was Hurt in a Car Accident

The Simple Life reality star, Nicole Richie was hurt Monday in a traffic accident in Beverly Hills.

According to Beverly Hills police Lt. Mike Hill, while driving her Land Rover on Wilshire Blvd around 2 p.m., Richie was rear-ended by a car driven by a photographer who was driving without a license.

Hill added, Richie was complained of pain but opted to seek her own treatment and no ambulance was called. He also informed that 29-year-old Edwardo Arrivebene, a freelance photographer, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license. Arrivebene’s car is now being impounded.

Joel Madden was reportedly also in the car when the accident happened, but there is no word on his condition. Thank God, her newly-born son Sparrow James Midnight Madden and daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden were not in the car with her. The children were left at home at the time.
