Jennifer Hudson Will Star in ABC’s Christmas Special

Jennifer Hudson is slowly but sure back in the entertainment world.

Former American Idol finalist is going back home to her hometown of Chicago , to star in primetime music special slated to air on ABC and will be titled “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas”

In the special show that will air in December, 28-year-old Hudson reliving her childhood memories of holidays with musical performances filmed in several locations in Chicago . Among those locations are her church, music academy and other Chicago locations.

The network hasn’t schedule a date and time for the hour-long music special yet, but we’re sure that it will be a great special show of the Oscar winner, especially since this year will be her first Christmas with her newborn son.
