Nick Nolte’s Son Got Arrested for DUI

Nick Nolte is being linked to DUI again. It is not linked directly to Nolte himself, but it is linked to his son, Brawley King Nolte.

On Tuesday afternoon, 23-year-old Brawley Nolte was arrested for suspicion of DUI and possession of a controlled substance in Santa Monica.

Sgt. Jay Trisler from Santa Monica Police Department said that Brawley was driving north on Pacific Coast Highway when he made a lane change and struck a vehicle in front of him. When officers arrived at the scene, they believed Brawley had been driving while impaired.

The police conducted a series of sobriety tests and eventually arrested the former actor who played as Mel Gibson’s kidnapped son in the 1996 film Ransom. He was later freed after posting $5,000 bail.

Is this an example of ‘like father, like son’? since 68-year-old Nick Nolte had previously been arrested with DUI back in 2002. Well, hopefully it is not, and this will be the last time of the Noltes got involved in trouble.
