Love is back on the air for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo!

After separated in June, the former member of boyband 98 Degrees and 25-year-old Minnillo were rumored had got back together starting late August.

The duo were seen spending a lot of time together at nightclubs and also engaged in some heavy PDA, but inside sources said that they were merely “hanging out” and not officially back together.

Apparently, they are not only ‘hanging out’ together now. 35-year-old Lachey confirmed on Thursday that he is happy in a relationship. Lachey said, “I was single for a minute, there, and then we’ve kind of patched things up.” Lachey also described Minnillo as “a very smart girl. She’s far smarter than I!”

An insider shared, their relationship remains a work in progress. “They’ve always had a lot of love for each other, but they took a little break, and now they’re working on their relationship,” said the source.
