Do you remember the saying “One Woman’s Garbage is Another’s Treasure”? Apparently, that exact saying could be applied to actress Lauren Graham now.

The chatty Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls will join NBC’s midseason drama Parenthood in the Sarah Braverman role. The character was originally played by Maura Tierney, who had to withdraw herself from the series to focus on her breast-cancer treatments.

We didn’t have the intention to be happy over other’s unfortunate condition, but we do miss the chatty Lorelai. And even more, we think 42-year-old Graham is the suitable replacement for Tierney’s role.

So, welcome back to the silver screen, Lauren!
